Check out Stephan Hans' page on the gamepads section
and the N64 section for various problems he's seen
with printer ports and suggestions. Seems to
boil down to 2 possibilities:

1. Insufficient voltage levels, even if you think
you are supplying the right voltage, maybe there's
a drop somewhere... Have you verified with a meter
that the voltage is good?

2. Check and possibly modify the setting in your
computer's BIOS of the parallel port. If it's in
ECP mode, try standard mode. (Try all of the
possibilities for best results I'd guess).

Good luck and let us know?

: I recently built a Direct Pad Pro adapter with two PSX controllers. I attached a 5v power line and I know that works since the analog light goes on. The problem is that the computer does not seem to pick up the controllers. If anyone know what settings to use for 2 psx controllers please e-mail me.

: Thanks
