sbpci has a dos hook called sbinit that must be initialised for it to work, Raw dos requires irq5 for the sbpci to get sound in mame...no really. if you load sbinit in the autoexec.bat it is auto removed as creative dont support raw dos...no windows dos isnt the same thing..you must adjust the sbpci.ini file directly as this holds the info for dos. The pci card pretends to be an isa card as dos apps dont support it.......
if you hang on a day or 2 im uping my startup sytem (autoexec.bat etc.) for someone else as well as a pre setup for loading the sbpci128 for dos mame use.
