You might have problems getting the 12v off of the
parallel port, But by using one of the data lines
to get you 12v is possible by tapping into the 12v
on your pc power supply and using one of the unused
data lines on that port.

One question: I used this port for most of my controls
with snes pads, they also made light guns. Would
they work? I read all mame's doc and did not find
out anything on this..any help on this would be great.
