The problem is that the ship will only move at one speed, no matter how fast or slow you moved the mouse, so it would be very awkward to play.

: I was just playing Gaplus, and tried the mouse, the left mouse button fired, but I couldn't move with the mouse! I want to hook a spinner and use it Galaga and the like. (There were a couple of games on the Atari 2600 that used paddles instead of joys, and they were a blast!) I know you can move up and stuff in Galaga, but I rarely do, only right and left usually.

: PS I'll help beta test the dual mouse mame, if you want. I have two serial mice and PS/2, all I have to do is find a header to get the second serial port out the back. Also, do the mouse drivers support Com 3/4 ? Irreagular IRQs? MS mouse driver(mouse.com/mouse.sys[the one that came with the mouse]) for mice that aren't supported, in addition to the generic driver ones? What about the guns mentioned earlier? (I just bought a Light Blaster last weekend)
