Just thought I'd post this info from Happs because earlier I started a thread asking what to do and the info I got here was opposite to what Happs recommended.

"Dustin,
You can leave the power and ground connections, but you will have to switch the two "data" connections on each PCB. The data/signal connections are on pins 1 and 4 of the Optic Sensor pcb. These are the two outside pins.

I'm going to use 2 DPDT relays (one for each axis) to swich the 2 data lines/axis to be either connected to my KE-72T or connected to nothing. Hope this helps someone.
