I have one of those screen magnifiers. They make my 19" monitor look like a 27" but only if you are looking at it from directly in front of it. It would not be good for multi-player games where 2 people would be looking at it from off center. The best use for it is playing single player flying or driveing PC games. For that it really adds depth and a bigger view. If you have ever seen the sit down Mach 3 in an arcade it uses the same type magnifier to make a 19" look like a 27".
