hello all, i am new to this board and to this hobby.
i just recently discovered MAME and needless to say am drooling over all of those countless games i used to enjoy way back when. i am avid about bringing this experience off of my PC and into an arcade cabinet. i wanted to see if any of you had any suggestions. i have been doing some research on this site and have determined that i want an arcade MAME machine. I want two joysticks (4 or 8 way), 6 buttons each and either a spinner or a (trackwheel) or a trackball. I was looking into buying a control panel already assembled like the Hot Rod since the control interface looks to be the most complex thing. I was wondering what you folks think about where i could buy a panel that included a spinner and if that is truly the hardest part. Other than interfacing the controls, it seems i can essentially place my PC monitor and all into and arcade cabinet. any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
