A computer power supply can give you a few 12v and 5v connections. Flourescent lights usually run on 120v AC which comes straight out of a wall.

Most lamps or counters will use between 4 and 12 volts. As long as the voltage you use is within +/- 1 volt, you should be fine.

: I'm in the midst of creating a MAME cabinet from an original Pac-Man Cab. I understand the wiring from joysticks, buttons, etc. to an I-Pac. My problem is wiring up the internal light fixtures to a power source (lights behind the $.25 sign on the coin door, marquee lights, etc). Does anyone have any pointers on the best way to accomplish this? Guess I'm afraid of the voltage....don't want to screw anything up.
