: Seems not too difficult - hopefully if I go the TV route i'll get a model that has a simple mount around the tube - otherwise it could be tricky.

FYI, I'm using a Panasonic CT27D11E... relatively inexpensive with good S-Video in. Although I didn't know this until I got it home, it's got a good mounting: four nice solid metal holes at the corners of the tube, perfect for sticking bolts through. My mounting looks like this when viewed from the side: bolt head, washer, MDF, washer, nut, about 2" of bolt, nut, washer, TV, washer, lock nut... if that makes any sense. If not, let me know and I'll try to amplify. I used Lock-Tite on the nuts to keep 'em from slipping.

But my main reason for buying this brand was this: if it's powered on and unplugged, it will power itself back on when it's plugged back in. This way I can have a single power switch controlling everything in the cab.
