: : The NeoRageX Emulator is wonderful for NeoGeo emulation, but does anyone know if there is any way to load games for it straight from the command line without using the GUI so I can use my front-end to invoke the game directly?

Mame (I use Mame32 0.37 b14, or MameLang32+ 0.37 b15) can run all Neo-Geo games. It's just a matter of applying the proper fixfiles so that they can be used this way. (Fortunately, all the ROMs I ordered on my CD-R collection were already fixed and ready to go in Mame!...)

: : And on a related note, what do you all use for NeoGeo emulation? I want something that allows overclocking and also lets you set the games to console rather than arcade. So far I have to use "KBMame" but as it is not updated anymore some of the more newly emulated games won't work (wah!)

I never really knew or cared much about the differences between home and arcade systems, so I'm afraid I can't help you... Sorry
