Most of the games weren't analog. So as long as you had a pedal that was connected to one of the button interfaces somehow it would be cool. It's either off or on depending on how low the pedal is right?? Correct me if I'm wrong...

: I can see why steering wheels aren't to tough to make, basically a spinner. But how would you make pedals for gas/brake?

:
: : I'm have also been looking... I'm going to go with a (If I can come up with the cash) 2 twisty grip starwars yokes for driving games that only go left and right). But now I want some steering wheels spin for a bunch of other games.

: : Anyway, does anyone have a hacking guide for one? I'm considering raiding a cheap stearing wheel (autozone or junkyard) and the plumbing section to see if I can come up with something... But I would prefer a sudo premade item for the rotary part...

: : harddrives aren't strong enough... Something with ballbearings would be better...

: :
: : : Any good steering wheels out there that work well with MAME? I know it would be better to get some old heavy duty arcade wheels, but since no one is making them, are there any other PC steering wheels that work well with MAME??? Thanks for any help!
