I just recieved today a Leadtek Winfast Geforce2pro. It cost me $143 total and should perform slightly faster then the normal GF2 in 3d stuff (but not as fast as a 'real' gf2 pro since it uses somewhat slower memory). I just checked and it also has a Chrontel TV-out chip. I haven't tested the quality or anything yet (I just got it), but just letting you all know...
: Thanks Gadgetman, the Chrontel chip is what I was concerned with. As far as 3D goes, my current card is a V3 2000, so the new Geforce2 should certainly be better than that. I think I am going to build a new PC for the cabinet too while I am at it, some of the newer MAME games are too much for my P2-233 with 64MB. I found an Athlon 800/shuttle MB combo for $130, that doesn’t sound too bad. Thanks for the help guys! The best part of having a MAME cabinet is that it’s never completely finished, I still have a list of things I want to do for it…
