Help with EmuLoader Vertical games

I'm having this problem using MameW where if I play vertical games, the screen gets stretched really wide, even if I uncheck the stretch box in options. My only choice if I want to play these games is to rotate my monitor. Not very convenient for my desktop. Any suggestions?
