I can't tell you for sure... But most companies have one TV-out conversion chip that they use on their different models. And since they use the same drivers, I would assume the TV is the same between the two.
As for the difference to mame. Hardly any. The memory speed increases, but nothing that you will notice in mame at all. The MX chips (nvidia) are all decent - good cards, and more then most people that are creating dedicated mame machines.
