I found that the happs 27" bezel matched up against the glass perfectly on my TV without having to remove the TV's shell. This might vary from TV to TV but you might want to try that as it's a whole lot easier to build a shelf for your tv if it will fit in the cab than it would be to strip it and build a frame.

: I like the modularity of a TV as a display device, but I hate how it looks when mounted. I prefer the arcade monitor and a real, proper bezel that is moulded to the tube (like the ones HAPP sells)
