There aren't really any ghosting problems. There are number-of-keypress limitations in two-player situations (e.g. if each player moved diagonally while firing) but a single player can fire all six fire buttons and use both sticks at the same time (the problem, I guess, is the player 2 fire buttons). I'll keep testing.
This specific keyboard I used (AppleDesign) minimized these problems. The ClubMac keyboard I hacked a few months ago was terrible (couldn't use the joystick diagonally while firing).

I will have pictures of this soon. I borrowed by company's digital camera and lent it to my friend who is working on the hack.
