Simple answer first: connect the (silver) "1 com" on the microswitch to the grnd on the I-PAC. Connect the (goldish) "3 NO" to the desired button input on the I-PAC.
"Connect" can be done in many ways -- simple wire twisting, crimped connectors, soldering, whatever you want.
For my project, I went the same path as Kyol, with a few minor diffs:
I bought some additional d-sub male crimp pin connectors to make the I-PAC ends of the wire easier to insert. My "NO" wires are .187 crimp connector to WIRE to d-sub crimp connector. My grounds all go individually to a common bus and then down to the I-PAC just like Kyol's.
--next section was for my own personal torture--
I also have the added complication of detachable control panels in my plan, so I bought a male and female "25 position d-subminiature crimp-type connector" so that my panel wires can be "unplugged" from the I-PAC. So the bus ground really goes to one pin in the plug... permanent buttons still use the simple plan of directly wiring to the I-PAC and a second ground bus(like coin 1, coin2).
