I haven't tried it myself, but those around here using that solution seem to speak fairly highly of it. I think, specifically, that they were using the S-video out on a GEForce2 MX, so I'm not sure what the implication of the Buzzbox would be.
Give it a shot, though. It appears, on the surface, that it should work fine, with decent quality.
