Advancemame allows you to specify the frequency settings for your particular monitor (actually in mame, but it will make sense if you read the FAQ).

You can then create various custom resolutions specific to your video/monitor setup, that give you the look and feel for each game that you want.

I believe that you can also alter the AOS resolutions, as well, but I've never had to do this.

My recommendations.

: I recently purchased a 20" fixed frequency monitor for $10, and have been wondering how to use it with MAME. The monitor runs 1280 X 1024 resolution at about 74Hz, not 75. It also has RGB HV sync inputs, if that makes any difference.

: Since the arcade games run at many different resolutions, how would I use this?
: Perhaps find a way to convert the games to a higher resolution?

: Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
