Would anyone else besides me be interested in something that converts arcade RGB, primarily of interest would be from a JAMMA arcade board, into NTSC/PAL/Svideo so one can play JAMMA boards using arcade controls and a Television?

Now that I have a source of income I've been compulsively buying JAMMA boards from Ebay and of course I have no cabinet whatsoever (MAME or Dedicated) and I realize it's straightforward to interface controls to a JAMMA harness, the only problem is Video.

Well that's where I come into play, again. Just like the rotary interface, I have a new need now, I've always known there's problems with trying to convert video back and forth and trying to get this to work on that display, so I always avoided the topic, thinking it's a horrible thing to get involved with...

I think I may have uncovered a way to easily make a video conversion interface to take the RGB straight from JAMMA or maybe also dedicated PCB's, not sure about that....and convert it straight into TV friendly video signals.

I ordered some parts today and I'll begin experimenting when I get those. It may all go down the gutter or it may work with great success. If I have success I'll put up a site as usual with all the secrets and offer maybe to sell parts. I know if I can get this working for myself, I'm sure there's lots that would like to do the same, maybe even more than the number of people who wanted to play Ikari last year with that breakthrough.
