What material are control panel overlays made of?? {more}

I'm looking to finish off my control panel(s) with a hard-wearing surface, and I am intereasted in obtaining clear/opaque control panel overlays.

Unfortunately the market is not exactly flooded with arcade game suppliers and I am finiding it almost impossible to source certain bits'n'pieces.

What type of material are these overlays made of? I have heard that they are mylar, or some sort of polycarbonate.

Any ideas or leads would be greatly appreciated.
