JLR, by an odd coincidence, I too am using Scott's Unicade design with a 27" TV. I'm gonna stubbornly stick with my original plan to mount the tube, though... I'm way too far along to change my frame's width now. I'm also seriously considering using textured spray paint rather than plastic laminate for the sides.

Cryofax, let me say 1) thanks for MISSING.EXE, and 2) my case does not have rear access; the back panels are screwed on. Any idiot who's willing to undo eight screws just to electrocute himself is welcome to. The only easy access to the interior is through a front door, which will be locked. I don't have kids, but even if I did, I'm reasonably confident in the security of that lock... especially because the hypothetical kid would have to then crawl inside (over a bumpy and uncomfortable computer) and reach up about four feet to grab the charged yoke. He'd probably find it easier to just stick a fork in an electrical outlet.
