There are a whack of video options that you can choose from in ZSNES, not the least of which is 320x200 x 8 bit, which we all know should work fine with an arcade monitor.

I think the problem is that the emulator is picking its resolutions, when I'd prefer if it would be stupid, and just take what AOS gives it. Perhaps I need to be looking at a different EMU for this application.


: It might be that an SNES is medium-resolution (512x448 I think) at 256 colors. Maybe the Arcade monitor cannot handle this.

: : Generally, my first test with a new emu is to jump to the dos shell out of AOS and run it from there, just to make sure it runs well before I go building APP files. With ZSNES, it seems to want to set its own video modes, thereby ignoring those that were passed from AOS to the Dos Shell.
