It has been quite a Journey with many hours at local hardware stores looking for just the right parts... Many usless parts bought, and a pretty hefty credit card bill for some new tools! (I needed a good excuse to but the tools anyway I guess :)
I have a working prototype! It spins for a real long lime - Over 4 seconds at minimum. And Works Great for Disk of Tron, as well as games like SuperSprint.
If everything goes well, I should be able to get the things made in 2 weeks. Im still waiting on a few new parts to test out. Hopefully they will be here soon.
