I use a Pentium 3 800 w/ 256k SDRAM and a 32mb GeForce2 video card, and it runs most everything flawlessly, BUT there a couple of exceptions...

I find processor hungry emulation on the "nbajam" hardware (whatever that is) is the worst...

With NBAJam, I get some frameskips on the new MameW at 640x480 full screen stretch, but surprisingly in StretchMame (same build, 37b15) with the same settings at full screen scretch I get no frameskips at all.

The 2 on 2 ice hockey game that uses the same hardware will not run at full speed no matter what emulator I use, even DOSMame. But I think a lot of the problem is the constant digitized voices, turning those off, or lowering the quality helps.

Some games (ncluding several NeoGeo games) slow down, but that's only because the original hardware actually does the same thing. If you use a Mame build that lets you overclock the virtual hardware (NOT the same as turbo mode), many games that appear to slow down will actually run full speed throughout... I prefer KBMame, because it also allows you to set the NeoGeo games to the console version instead of just the Arcade version. NeoRagex is great, but has no command line options so is useless in a front end.

: Hey all - What type of setup do I need to run the newest mame games with out frame skipping (UltimateMK3 etc) under Windows. I want to do everything in windows since I run the Svideo from a 32 MB Ati all in wonder to my tv. Thanks
