Try running Smartdrv.exe. It's a long shot, but if my suspicion is correct, it should help.
Also, make sure you have the latest cwsdpmi and emm386.exe running.
: When running MAME in DOS certain games wont load and I get the following ,"A serious disk error has occured while writing to drive. Retry?" ?? When the same game is ran using Windows it runs fine...Any ideas? I'm wanting to use Arcadeos/Gamelauncher in DOS for speed. It ran fine before on an older system using AMD k6-2 300 now upgraded to Athlon 500 and getting these messages...thanks
