OK guys I am getting ready to convert a spyhunter2 cabinet to a mame cab...I am going to buld a new control panel for it(played the game...hate the game...no loss to the collecting group) My question is this. I have seen alot of different control groupings and I would like some input from people that actually have mame machines. Which layout works the best for the largest number of the games. I love games like tempest and puzzle bobble but I want to be able to play fighting games and 4 player games as well. Would a 6 button Street fighter layout be best? or would a 6 button Ala MK3 be better? The other question is about button types...it seems that some people prefer leaf switches while others prefer microswitches. Other than personal preference, are there any other reasons (Performance wise) that one would choose one type of switch over the other? I am also working on creating a larger set of visio stencils based on the set from from Jason that was based on the set from Jack. I will be adding more button configurations and better player buttons. I will send upload them when I get finished. Input is greatly appreciated. THX
