I made mine without an angle since I'm tall and if the panel is angled my wrists have to be angled back too much and it's uncomfortable. It was ok when I was a kid to have angled panels since it made it easier to play, but now that I'm all growed up the angle is no good. Pluss it's better for playing when sitting down too. Just my opinion.
