OT: Anyone notice color brightness diff between MameW and dos Mame? (more)

Sorry to get off topic, but it's somewhat related, I think....
I've noticed that game colors seemed muted when using MameW, Mame32 instead of dos Mame. The colors are much more vibrant on the dos version. I am using a TV for display. The MameW colors look very similar to the dos Mame games when paused. Anyone else experience this? Let me know. Thanks.
