ahh.. i must've read that at some point :) forgot MAME32 could do that.. but i rarely use it anyhow. PartyOn! is pretty cool.. couldn't get it to work with a 'normal' joystick though (hotrod only).. but i downloaded about a dozen more frontends and found MAMEwizard to be very good.. small & fast.. and able to use a joystick to scroll through the game list. i'm trying to edit the whole command line though and i'm not sure it will let me (might have to stick with DOS MAME, not the new MAMEw). so now i can just put that in startup and map a button to quit in MAME and i'm all set. until i want to use Final Burn or something.... hehe.
