Rather they take the place of windows explorer and allow youto create your own customized desktop environment. While you could use it to front-end MAME you would have to create a seperate "button" for each game to launch with its individual command line. I use it to laucn EmuLoader and several other emus, MusicMatch, Internet Explorer, and several slide shows.
