I have an old laptop Pentium 150 w/ 32mb RAM that runs all the old arcade stuff just fine (like Pacman, Donkey Kong) and some other older systems like the NES. In fact it even comes with a TV out jack so I can plug into the TV at the hotel or wherever, daisy-chain two sidewinders, and away we go... Pathetic, huh?

: Can I get opinions on the plausibility of using a laptop for MAME games?

: I'm looking into a simple set-up that involves using a dedicated laptop to play games like Pacman, Mario Bros., Millipede, Elevator Action, Star Trek, Choplifter, ect.(Basically games from the early to mid 80s). I want to be able to download and bring any one or two of these games with me when I travel, and would appreciate advice on the minimum PC hardware needed to accomplish this(if it is possible).

: Thanks a lot.
