I didn't realize this before, but Mame32 doesn't retain those command line parameters, Missing doesn't know what to do with it. You'll need the DOS version of mame.exe.

But you don't need the whole Mame install or anything, just copy the one file, mame.exe from whatever DOS version of mame you want into your main mame directory (with ROMs sub directory) and it should work fine.

I've recompiled a new version just now that adds a readme file, and gets all those obnoxious credits off the program and htm file and into the readme where they belong.

It also does EVERYTHING locally. No more asking for directories AT ALL. Just copy missing.exe AND mame.exe to the mame directory and it will output a missing.htm file right there.

I'm gonna post this new version in a new thread in case anyone else not following this has a need for it.

: I've downloaded your new file, renamed my mame32.exe to mame.exe, none of the directories are over 8 letters, I spelled every directory correctly, and it still wont work! It just says I must have entered a wrong diectory.

: What could be wrong?
