So I'd wire up my trackball and buttons and x,y movement of joysticks to the KE72-T and then use the optipac for just the rotary part of the joysticks? Is that right?
: Not with a KE72-T, get and optipac for the joysticks, and run them to the serial ports. You'll have to run the +5v from the KE72-T to the optipac.
: : I bought a KE72-T, four Super8 joysticks, twenty something buttons, and a 3" Happs trackball to build my control panel. After thinking about it I'm wondering if I'd be happier with the optical rotary joysticks for players 1 and 2 so that heavy barrel and ikari warriors will be more authentic. Can I hookup 2 rotary joysticks and a trackball using my encoder? If so how/if not what do I need?
