My suggestion is simply to take some time every day and carefully examine even just one or two sites at a time. Each builder's site, no matter how bad or vague, has something valuable to offer.
Bookmark them in your browser, because these pages may be part of the cab builders' webring and this will point you towards even more cab pages.
