It's not Mame version specific. The source code is just using the verifysets command from whatever mame.exe you point to.

In fact it appears you can use it with any version of Mame (Pentium optimized, etc) as long as you rename your main executable to "mame.exe", or if you have the VB compiler recompile the source code with the name you want.
