RGB to NTSC converter

I am working with the NBA JAM arcade video game. I am trying to build my own RGB to NTSC converter and I trying to locate an IC that will convert the signals for me. I know Motorola,Rohm,SGS,Mitshubishi and a couple of other companies make some of those ICs, but I am not sure which one will work the best. My video RGB outputs are analog and there is also a video sync output.

Anyone that did this kind of work please help.
