Oscar spinner compatible with ME4?

Hi there, I just ordered a Hagstrom ME4 and I am wondering if the Oscar opti-pac plus spinner will interface with it? Has anyone done this and gotten it to work?

Per Kelsey from Ocsar "If the ME4 accepts a 4-wire rotary input with GND, +5V, X1, and X2, it should work fine. On the Opti-Pac plus, the polarity jumper needs to be set to Active Hi. I don't know if the the ME4 has a jumper that will reverse the polarity. The polarity jumper changes which side of the resistor the +5V is on with respect to the optics on the OSCAR."

If someone has done this and it works I will order one, thanks for the help!
