How to illuminate a translucent trackball?

Hi,
How are the translucent 2 1/4" translucent trackball from Happ Controls supposed to be illuminated?

(I forgot to order lamp & lamp assembly when I ordered the trackball)

Where is the lamp supposed to be? Is it supposed to be fasten inside the trackball assembly or on the outside?

What does the lamp assembly look like? There's no hole for a screw on the trackball housing, as far as I can see...
