Yeah but the Duron 800 is only 45 bucks :) I have a T-bird 900 in my main PC already and have no complaints, but I wanted to upgrade my MAME cabinet PC on the cheap and I would feel bad if it had more horsepower than my main PC :)

Granted they use the same motherboards so the only price difference will be in the CPUs, so long term it's not a big difference either way. I'm just trying to figure out what I can squeak by with

: If your buying a CPU... go with the 900 or more. They are all within a few dollars of each other. It might be a good time to upgrade your current duran. (13 dollars between the 850 and 900 right now on pricewatch). Also, if you don't have a motherboard... remember that the athlons gain about 20% speed increase of a duron at the same clock cycle. Durons are better at overclocking, but if you don't plan on overclocking, the athlons are really in the same price/performance (even better for the 1ghz athlon for 123 when the 950 duron is 121)... Since they run on the same motherboards in many cases, its always worth it.

: I didn't think stun runner ran in any processor out.. I will have to retry it... it might be faster then the first driver.
