By unscrewing the bottom of the unit, you can see that there are wires coming from the spinners, one bundle of 8 wires frome each of two spinners. I would think that you could use the existing wires and hook it up to the inputs of a hacked mouse.
Jerky, did you indicate that yours is already hacked? How did you proceed?
