I use snes9x on my pII 300 & get full-speed

I don't know what kind of setup you have, but running snes games full-screen I could still eagle the display & get decent results (40-50/60) on a pIII 500, 32mb Matrox G400.

With your better system, you shouldn't have any problems.

Are you using the latest version of snes9x (.36?)
