: Not true. The PS2 mouse port only really gained wide acceptance around the same time as the Pentium II was released. So anyone with the older AT style motherboards and computers up to and including P233MMX could very probably not have a PS2 port.

Odd.... All the P75, P90, and P100 systems I've seen have a PS/2 port (these are all Socket 5 boards)(though some have odd headers). What country are you in? Maybe it was adopted later there than here in the US.
