Arcade monitor newbie hook up question?

I'm fixing to get my hands on an arcade machine with a 19" arcade monitor and was wondering how basic is it to hook up to the PC..Am I just supposed to solder up the corresponding RGB,HSNYC etc to the main board on the monitor? Is that all there is to it?
