I've been trying to reproduce this on my cabinet, but I have the non-pro version of the card.
Maybe it's only the pro version that has this issue, but...
what version of mame?
or version of mame32?
Are you running under windows or pure dos?
what's your desktop resolution and color depth?
What options are you setting in mame?
What kind of monitor? PC,arcade, TV?
which interface? Svideo, composite, rgb?
PAL/NTSC?
