: Actually I have a magnetic stick. It's from a commercial joystick (one stick and 2 buttons) called Telemach 200. I bought it more than 10 years ago. Some months ago I took the guts out of this joystick and I found out that it was made by Industrias Lorenzo. Looking at the pics I found out it's the magnetic joystick. It's called magnetic because there's not spring to return to center. Instead of this, the lever is mounted on a magnetic surface. In fact it's almost the same as a Super Joystick, but the range of movement is a little shorter and it feels a little different. It's also heavier, with more parts made of metal. It's a very good stick. However, I'm looking for a stick which feels softer (not so rigid as Supers when you reach the top movement), and with a powerfull spring which keep the stick firmly center, and a short range of movement too. Do you think the Universal Stick fits this descrition? I think this model is at sight simmilar to some sticks I've tried at the arcades. However, the model that looks amazing and should feel perfect is the one I mentioned before. I hope so, cause I intend to order one. The universal stick also has a big problem: needs a very high box to fit inside. As regards prices, I don't know, but I don't think they're much more expensive than other models.
