need help in deciding what parts to order

Hi there, I'm getting ready to attempt to build my own MAME cabinet and control panel and am looking for some advice.

I already have a HotRod SE which I really like but I want to add a trackball and a spinner as well so I have some questions.

1. Would it be feasible to strip out the HotRod and put it all in a larger panel so I can add a spinner and a trackball or would I be better off just selling it and starting over with an encoder? (I was looking at the KE 72 from Hagstrom)

2. I see that Hagstrom has the ME4 for sale (Trackball and Spinner PS2 mouse interface) which would enable me to connect a Happ trackball directly and also have room for a spinner... I also see that Happ sells a trackball that will connect directly to a USB or PS2 interface but it doesn't appear to have an additional connection for a spinner, whcih way should I go here?

3. If I start from scratch it appears the I could get a KE72-T from Hagstrom which would then have the trackball interface as well but leave me short a spinner interface. Would I be better off getting a KE72 and the ME4 or is that just overkill?

Sorry if I have too much down or am being redundant in my questions, I just want to make a really nice arcade quality machine so your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Any tips on what you guys have done would be great!
