Most current monitors remember screen geometry for each video mode you use, that is why you straighten the video for one mode and it does not screw up another mode. The little box you have between your PC and TV is not doing that, and a TV will definately not do that. Are you adjusting the location of the video on the TV screen with the little box, or the TV's controls??

I am adjusting it from that little box. I also have an ATI Radeon AIW...maybe I should use the TV-out on that?
