: Ok, if you read my previous post, you know I am in the process of buiting a computer to be integrated into my entertainment system. At this point, I have made a list of all the parts I am getting. Only question is, what video card to use. I could get an All-In-Wonder w/ 16MB video ram, or a Rage Fury Pro w/ 32MB video ram. Considering it will be used for game emulation (MAME, PSX, SNES, and NES mostly maybe some PC games)and DVD playback, do I really need 32MB vram? Also, besides video out, what other functions does the All-In-Wonder have. I mean, could I hook my Direct TV reciever up to it? Thanks for any help you can give.

Rage Fury does not have video "IN" capabilities, the All-In-Wonder does. It can capture live video (yes, like from DTV). The All-In-Wonder also has a Tuner. You can hook a antennae or cable directly to it, and the in system software can change channels, etc.

As far as performance for mame goes, it will not make any difference. When I first built my cabinet, I had a All-In-Wonder 128 Pro with 32MB RAM in it. Then when I got everything done, I replaced it with a Rage Fury Pro 16MB. No significant difference to your video in Mame. Just make sure you use a S-Video TV.
