on a three pin switch you ignore one of the pins anyway, which is NC, for normally closed. I assume what you're thinking of doing is getting a different kind of switch that only has Normally Open, right? Like some of the ones they sell at Radio Shack or something. You'll still need a ground and a hot though. What happens is when you press the switch, it connects hot and ground, closing your circuit. Without ground you have nowhere for the electricity to go to.

: I wanna make a psx pad hack and I wonder if I need microswitches with 3 pins, or can I use normal microswitches with just 2 pins (ignoring the ground). Thankyou very much and have a nice day!!
